Here's a recipe for a Bombay sandwich using Roopak's Bombay Sandwich Masala:


  • Bread slices (white or whole wheat)
  • Boiled potatoes, thinly sliced
  • Tomato, thinly sliced
  • Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Onion, thinly sliced
  • Green chutney (made from mint, cilantro, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt)
  • Roopak's Bombay Sandwich Masala
  • Butter or ghee


  • Prepare the green chutney by blending mint leaves, cilantro, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt until smooth. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
  • Take two slices of bread and apply butter or ghee on one side of each slice.
  • Spread a generous amount of green chutney on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
  • Place a layer of thinly sliced boiled potatoes on top of the chutney.
  • Sprinkle Roopak's Bombay Sandwich Masala evenly over the potato layer.
  • Add a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions on top of the potatoes.
  • Sprinkle more Bombay Sandwich Masala over the vegetable layer.
  • Cover the sandwich with the other bread slice, buttered side facing outwards.
  • Heat a pan or sandwich maker and grill the sandwich until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  • Once done, remove from heat, slice the sandwich diagonally, and serve hot with ketchup or more green chutney on the side.
