Here's a recipe for a Bombay sandwich using Roopak's Bombay Sandwich Masala:
Ingredients:
- Bread slices (white or whole wheat)
- Boiled potatoes, thinly sliced
- Tomato, thinly sliced
- Cucumber, thinly sliced
- Onion, thinly sliced
- Green chutney (made from mint, cilantro, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt)
- Roopak's Bombay Sandwich Masala
- Butter or ghee
Instructions:
- Prepare the green chutney by blending mint leaves, cilantro, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt until smooth. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
- Take two slices of bread and apply butter or ghee on one side of each slice.
- Spread a generous amount of green chutney on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
- Place a layer of thinly sliced boiled potatoes on top of the chutney.
- Sprinkle Roopak's Bombay Sandwich Masala evenly over the potato layer.
- Add a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle more Bombay Sandwich Masala over the vegetable layer.
- Cover the sandwich with the other bread slice, buttered side facing outwards.
- Heat a pan or sandwich maker and grill the sandwich until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Once done, remove from heat, slice the sandwich diagonally, and serve hot with ketchup or more green chutney on the side.
