Here's a recipe for Pulao using Roopak's Pulao Rice Masala:

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 Cup basmati rice
    • 2 Cups water
    • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
    • 1 Tomato, chopped
    • 1 Carrot, diced
    • 1 Potato, diced
    • 1/2 Cup green peas
    • 2 Tablespoons cooking oil or ghee
    • 1 Tablespoon Roopak's Pulao Rice Masala
    • Salt to taste
    • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Instructions:
    • Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and set aside.
    • Heat the oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
    • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
    • Stir in the diced carrots, potatoes, and green peas. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
    • Add the Roopak's Pulao Rice Masala to the vegetables and mix well to coat them evenly.
    • Add the rinsed basmati rice to the pan and sauté for a minute, stirring gently to combine with the vegetables and spices.
    • Pour in the water and add salt to taste. Stir gently and bring the mixture to a boil.
    • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let the pulao simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and all the water is absorbed.
    • Once the pulao is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it sit covered for a few minutes.
    • Fluff the pulao with a fork, garnish with fresh cilantro leaves, and serve hot.
