Podina Parantha Masala
Mix Roopaks Parantha masala in potatoes, paneer or dough to make delicious Paranthas.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups whole wheat flour
- 1 Medium-sized potato, boiled and mashed
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Roopak's Podina Prantha Masala
- Salt to taste
- Water for kneading
- Ghee or oil for cooking
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, mashed potato, chopped onion, chopped green chilies, Roopak's Podina Prantha Masala, and salt.
- Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Take one ball of dough and roll it out into a small disc using a rolling pin. Dust with flour as needed to prevent sticking.
- Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled-out dough disc on the hot tawa.
- Cook for a minute or so, then flip the paratha and spread some ghee or oil on the cooked side.
- Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy, pressing down gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough portions.
- Serve the Podina Parathas hot with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice.
