Recipe: Mint Chutney with Roopak's Podina Chutney Masala
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup fresh mint leaves, washed and chopped
- 1/2 Cup fresh cilantro leaves, washed and chopped
- 1-2 Green chilies, chopped (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 Teaspoon Roopak's Podina Chutney Masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 Teaspoon sugar (optional, to balance the flavors)
- Water, as needed
Instructions:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green chilies, lemon juice, Roopak's Podina Chutney Masala, salt, and sugar (if using).
- Blend the ingredients until you get a smooth paste. If needed, add a little water to help with the blending process, but be cautious not to make the chutney too runny.
- Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning if necessary. You can add more salt, sugar, or Roopak's Podina Chutney Masala according to your preference.
- Transfer the mint chutney to a serving bowl or an airtight container.
- Serve the mint chutney as a condiment with snacks like samosas, pakoras, or as a side with main dishes like biryani, tandoori chicken, or kebabs. You can also use it as a spread for sandwiches or wraps.
