Homemade Kitchen King Masala Recipe

Here's a basic recipe to make your own homemade Kitchen King Masala:

Ingredients:
  • 3 Tablespoons coriander seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons cumin seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1 Tablespoon black mustard seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon fenugreek seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon cloves
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon sticks
  • 1 Tablespoon green cardamom pods
  • 1 Tablespoon dried red chili flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon ground garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon dried mango powder (amchur)
  • 1 Tablespoon dried kasuri methi (fenugreek leaves)
  • 1 Teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black peppercorns, black mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and green cardamom pods in a pan over medium heat until fragrant. Make sure not to burn them. Remove from heat and let them cool down.
  • Once cooled, transfer the roasted spices to a spice grinder or mortar and pestle and grind them into a fine powder.
  • Add dried red chili flakes, turmeric powder, ground ginger, ground garlic, dried mango powder, dried kasuri methi, and ground nutmeg to the ground spices. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  • Store the Kitchen King Masala in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

This homemade Kitchen King Masala can be used to add flavor to various dishes like curries, gravies, stir-fries, etc. Adjust the amount of chili flakes according to your spice preference. Enjoy cooking with your homemade masala!
