Jal Jeera Masala Recipe
Here's a basic recipe for Jal Jeera Masala using Roopak's Jal Jeera Masala:
Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoons Roopak Jal Jeera Masala
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Teaspoon black salt
- 1 Teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1 Teaspoon dry mango powder (amchur)
- 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons tamarind paste
- 4 Cups chilled water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- In a bowl, add Roopak Jal Jeera Masala.
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the bowl.
- Add black salt, roasted cumin powder, dry mango powder, black pepper powder, red chili powder (if using), and tamarind paste to the bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients well to form a smooth paste.
- Gradually add chilled water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Once all the water is added, mix well until everything is dissolved.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Transfer the Jal Jeera Masala mixture to a jug or pitcher.
- Add ice cubes to the jug to chill the drink further.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- Stir well before serving.
- Serve chilled Jal Jeera Masala in glasses.
