Achari Chicken Recipe

Here's a recipe for Achari Chicken using Roopak's Achari Masala:

  • 500g Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 3 Tablespoons Roopak's Achari Masala
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Teaspoon red chili powder
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with Roopak's Achari Masala and keep aside for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • Add marinated chicken pieces along with any remaining marinade.
  • Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook until the chicken is tender and cooked through, stirring occasionally. This will take about 15-20 minutes.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice or roti.
