Mango Pickle Recipe
Here's a simple recipe for making 1kg mango pickle (aam ka achar) using Roopak's Aam Achar Masala:
- 1kg mangoes, diced
- 250g of Roopak's Aam Achar Masala
- Mustard oil
- For 2.5kg of Mangoes, use 625g of our Roopak's Achar Masala and mustard oil.
- For 5kg of Mangoes, use 1.25kg of our Roopak's Achar Masala and mustard oil.
Instructions:
- Wash the mangoes thoroughly and dice them into small pieces. Make sure to remove any seeds.
- In a bowl, combine the diced mangoes with Roopak's Aam Achar Masala. Mix well until all the mango pieces are coated evenly with the masala.
- Heat the mustard oil in a pan until it reaches smoking point. Let it cool slightly, then pour it over the mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture into a clean, dry glass jar. Make sure to press it down firmly to remove any air pockets. Seal the jar tightly.
- Let it rest for 3 to 5 days and your Pickle is ready!
Enjoy your homemade mango pickle with meals or as a condiment!
